About Criterion Studios

Criterion Studios is headquartered in Guildford, UK and was launched in January 1996 to focus purely on PC game development. Criterion Studios is a division of Criterion Software Limited and employs some 35 people.

Criterion Studios are a small (but perfectly formed!) band of designers, programmers, artists, modellers and 3D gurus who have emerged from the recent growth and evolution of Criterion Software.

Our intention is to develop groundbreaking 3D games for the PC that combine cutting edge technology, intuitive gameplay and stunning graphics.
