Game description
Chickie Egg is an unofficial remake of the arcade game Chuckie Egg in true 3D, created to showcase Criterion Studios' RenderWare engine.
In the game, the player controls a stout farmer whose task is to collect all eggs before the timer runs out while avoiding emus that roam the level. Each level comprises a set of platforms and ladders, somewhat similar to Jumpman or Lode Runner. Because the game is rendered in true 3D, you can change the perspective from a zoomed out view that shows the entire level to a close-up dynamic camera centred on the farmer, or a behind the shoulder view that looks impressive but is probably the least useful when playing.
Because this is essentially an engine tech demo, there are no sounds or music, or the ability to save or load games. Chickie Egg will track and remember your current score as long as you play, but there's no permanent scoreboard so the high scores will be reset after exiting the game.
