Game description
Adventure Game Studio, or AGS for short, is an extremely popular game maker tool created by Chris Jones that allows users to create their own point-and-click adventure games in the style of classic LucasArts or Sierra titles.
The AGS package contains editors for creating adventure games, but the early DOS releases also included a short playable "Demo Quest" that showcased the engine's capabilities and served as a sample of what can be made with AGS tools. The demo can be completed in a matter of minutes and poses no challenge at all, but can be still interesting from a historian's perspective.
IMPORTANT NOTE! This version of AGS is outdated and only archived for historical purposes. If you want to create adventure games for Windows, please head on to the project's official site and download the latest version of AGS.
