Game description
Graliens is a shareware first-person shooter made with Pie in the Sky Software's 3D Game Creation System (3DGCS), often referred to as the "Pie in the Sky engine". It is superficially similar to Wolfenstein 3-D or Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold, but feels a lot more clunkier and way less fun to play.
You're an FBI agent sent to investigate reports of crop circles who gets abducted by aliens and comes to his senses inside an alien flying saucer. The only way out of this predicament is to grab a gun and start shooting everything that moves.
Apart from the setting and a unique set of (not very interesting) textures and sprite work (you should check out Zyr for something arguably more original and pleasant-looking), this game plays like most other 3DGCS titles. You will wander around mazelike levels, poke around for secret doors, which is a must if you want to get anywhere in []iGraliens, and engage in some lacklustre combat from time to time. Overall, not a very exciting experience.
