Game description
Char is an arcade-style side-scrolling platform/shooter game with a moderately unusual premise that your character is a real-life person that has been transported into a Nintendo console (NES), with all the iconic video game characters after him. Luckily, he has a gun with unlimited ammo and can blast away to clear the path to freedom.
The game features backgrounds and characters from such popular NES titles as Super Mario Bros., Bad Dudes, Castlevania and others. There is a total of seven levels, with several difficulty settings and bonuses. In addition to DOS, the game has native Windows and Linux versions.
