Game description

Bombs and Bugs is a Bomberman variant of a fairly classic variety, featuring bugs trying to blow each other (and their surroundings) up with, you guessed it, bombs. Up to four players can compete, and the AI is fairly strong in this game.

Bombs and Bugs features hand-drawn high-resolution graphics and a nice soundtrack. The game uses appropriately-themed tilesets, such as the kitchen with various food items and appliances, or the garden filled with all sorts of undergrowth and mushrooms.

Bombs and Bugs was originally sold as shareware. The unregistered version has a 30-second nag screen shown before startup, and some options are disabled. A native Windows version of the game is also available. On 22 September 2013, author Stefan Eilert made the registered versions of the game available as free download from his site (please see the links section below).
