Game description
Alien Intruder is a single-screen side-view platormer/shooter where you need to rescue people trapped by slimy aliens. The cartoonish graphics and catchy Adlib tunes are a nod to classic titles from the early 90s PC era, such as Apogee Software's Crystal Caves, Secret Agent: The Hunt for Red Rock Rover and many others.
Your goal in each level is to rescue all captured humans and reach the exit. You have a blaster with unlimited ammo, and while destroying aliens is optional, it will count towards your total score. Also, aliens may drop bonus items, powerups or an extra life. Touching an alien or getting hit by their shots will result in losing one life.
Alien Intruder was released as freeware by its author. The game can run both in DOSBox or on authentic DOS hardware.
