Instruction/comment
If you play in DOSBox, make sure to set CPU cycles to max and CPU core to dynamic.
If the cube rotates too slowly (e.g. when playing in the browser), press F6 to turn off shading, and F5 to display the cube as a wireframe object.

Game description
This is a PC implementation of the popular puzzle game. The cube is rendered in true 3D and is rotated with the mouse; hotkeys are used to select the surface to rotate. The player can choose to solve either a randomly scrambled cube, or scramble it themselves.
The programme can be also asked to solve any cube on its own. This, combined with the ability to customize the initial scrambled state, opens the possibility of using it to solve real-world Rubik's Cube puzzles by duplicating them on the virtual cube in the game.
The game was released as freeware.
